These can be used to sharpen a wide variety of drill bits like the high spend steel bits or the masonry bits or the carbide bits and even the cobalt bits.

Make sure that you use the grinding guide to grind and also read all the instructions for lubrication. As well use goggles to protect your eyes from the flying particles.

The most important while using the drill bit is to know when to sharpen the drill bit and how to sharpen it. The best thing is that sharpening of drill bits is very important otherwise there is a serous danger of the drill bit being permanently damage.

The reason is simple that when the drill tip is not sharpened it will not get an easy foothold into the material and more than likely break.

Also it will generate more heat because of the reason that more surface area is in contact with the material being drilled generating more friction and heat. So make sure to sharpen and use the drill bit with utmost care
